Jimmy Bryant and Speedy West were Alt country legends long before there was such a term. They were shunned by the mainstream C&W crowd and forced out of Nashville. So they told the Grand Ole Opry to ram it up there collective snouts and went out to LA to make the music they wanted to. Jimmy Bryant is the man who put the Fender Telecaster on the map. He is most known for his awesome fleet riffs which are so clean and fast that people thought he sped up his tapes.
